Andreas Winter-Extra is an Operating Partner at KOMPAS VC, where he leads the platform team and oversees LP relations, startup advisory, and the firm's AI and technology stack. He leads KOMPAS VC's Berlin office.

Before joining KOMPAS VC, Andreas served as Investment Director at the Volvo Tech Fund and subsequently as Managing Director of Smartworks Innovations, the venture capital arm of Vienna Energy Group.

Andreas holds an undergraduate degree in Economics from the University of Hamburg and a joint MBA from the University of Hamburg and East China University of Science and Technology in Shanghai.
