Hayley Smith

Hayley Smith is the Chief of Staff at KOMPAS VC. Based in Amsterdam, she works across the investment and platform teams and closely with the partners to drive KOMPAS’s strategy and operations as the firm scales.

Prior to KOMPAS, Hayley was a Senior Associate at Freshfields in Amsterdam, advising on EU tech regulation and litigation before the European Court of Justice. During her time at Freshfields, she completed a secondment at Apple. Hayley started her career at Gibson Dunn, where she worked in the London and Hong Kong offices.

Hayley holds a BA in Law from the University of Cambridge and is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales and Ireland.
